[Newbie] help me design Automatic Gain Control for 430-438MHz

Hello.
I'm going to design AGC/VGA (variable gain control)for :
1.frequency 430MHz to 438Mhz
2.output level signal not going to -40dBm or maybe -30dBm.
Modulation is FM, but I want to control the power input to another stage.

Maybe, you know about IC AD8367 and AD8361. I have downloaded the datasheet of this ic, but i still dont know how to work this IC especially AD8361?

I think a fet based AGC , can handle your aim . can you attach your schematic here ?
I searching the reference on searching web, and I find the reference from:

From this references, they use IC ad8361 and external detector ad8361 and From references one until three the block diagram for designning is similiar like this:
