Help needed in HF Signal catching

WWV is a time signal transmitted by United states. There is a signal BPM also that is transmitted by Chinese. Both are transmitted on 10 MHz. I am receiving BPM signal on my receiver with a 10 MHz designed antenna specifically for the application. I live in Pakistan and Chinese are my immediate neighbors, so obviously Signal strength will be higher as compare to WWV what if I don't want BPM. I want to receive WWV..! what can be done in this regard ... i mean change in antenna or receiver?
Any help appreciated

Maybe, make a directional antenna to deny signal from china and to amplify from US?

It will not work as both the signals are transmitted by the principle of sky wave transmission..... they are not directed, else i would have used it!

good luck! If you have a chance at all, you will need multiple antennas phased to null the Chinese signal and amplify the US signal. As you will only get 30 dB nulling on a good day....not sure if that is enough.

WWV transmits on several frequencies 24 hours per day;

BPM transmits on the same frequencies but, in the case of some frequencies, not 24 hours/day;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BPM_%28time_service%29

You could, at least, receive WWV in the periods when BPM is silent.

And what is the receiver? A've read a little about these two signal on wiki. It seems they are different. Building a digital sample of WWV tones you may be able to detect them by means of correlation technique (or mathced filtering)? Or maybe time windows?

@Krp

I know there are other frequency options, but 10 MHz is that particular frequency that is independent of timing ! I mean frequency below 10 MHz can't travel well in night... and above 10 MHz can't travel well in day! 10 MHz is chosen that's why!

@Mityan

I am designing a Superhet one .. I designed TRF but it didn't worked for BPM also!
just for testing I am using Kenwood R-1000 !
