How to model SMA connector in Momentum?
iwant to realize a patch antenna with an coax fed .
i find an article with an sma connector i dont understand this sma .
how to introduce this sma a momentum.
Share tha article and explain the problem more clearly.
SMA connectors cannot be modeled in momentum, this is a PLANAR solver, and only PLANAR structures can be simulated. You need a 3D simulator like HFSS, CST, EMDS, ...
You can model SMA in Momentum using Via
See the attached project
i recommend u that u substitute the software u are doing ur analyzation.like hfss
Do you have an explanation or article on how your design works?
It will be very helpful.
Thanks,
You can model SMA connector with HFSS.
With momentum you can simple put the port in the desired place where your SMA will be. Even if it's not very accurate, you will get quite similar results
