Fss with ultra wide band response

Hi,
Does anyone know the practical application of FSS with wide stop band characteristics equivalent to UWB reponse? RCS reduction..etc are there but am not getting it exactly what will be the use of an FSS with Ultra wide band reponse...?Please help me out!
