dimension of Radiation box in HFSS

Hi.
you should be choosen the size of air box,lambda/4 larger than substrate or your design.
your design should be completely inside of air box.

my substrate dimesnion is 42x 24x 1.6
Lenth= 42 mm, Width= 24 mm and height= 1.6mm
so then what should be dimenstion of radiation box.

whats your operated frequency?

The operated frequency is 2.5GhZ

λ=c/f=30/2.5=12cm
λ/4=3cm
L=42+2×30=102mm
W=24+2×30=84mm
H=1.6+2×30=61.6mm



and your substrate is located in center of radiation box.
