Hi all,
I need to perform a 2-port calibration of my network analyzer. The two ports (reference planes) are separated far apart (4.5m).
My initial thought is to perforn an unknown thru calibration; as here: http://ena.support.keysight.com/e507...libiration.htm
According to this document, the electrical length of the thru should be known at an accuracy of ±1/4 of the wavelength.
Therefore, I can use just any another transmission line of adequate length as unknown thru, provided I know the electrical length. Will this work and be accurate ? In your experience, would there be better ways to calibrate this two-port ?
Greetings and thanks in advance,
