Is this possible? (EM field, sensor device, writing to NFC tag, interface device)

Hi there. I'm new to this forum so be merciful please. Please have a look at the pic:

I have two questions:
1 - Is that possible ? (I assume that the answer is yes, but I'd like to hear a confirmation from experienced people)
2 - How small could be the size of Sensor Device? (The most important question).

Minimum sensor size mainly asks for required coil dimensions and minimal sensor chip power requirements, NFC field strength range is given by the specification.

Which sensor size are you targeting?
