Filter/Remove everything below or above particular RF frequencies.
I need to do some analog RF processing on particular frequencies/channels of Bluetooth: 2402, 2426, 2480 MHz.
Before doing this processing I need to filter/remove everything below or above these three frequencies.
What would you suggest to get a clean filtering process? which kind of components may I use?
Thank you
Regards,
Michel
You absolutely need a complete filter specification.
My first choice would be Bluetooth SAW filter, available e.g. from Epcos/TDK, Murata, Abracon.
Thank you for your response! It's an excellent solution.
Is there a way to go further by getting only the 2402, 2426, 2480 MHz frequencies?
thx
Michel
Hi,
You can't just use 2402MHz, because data transmission uses some bandwidth.
Therefore you need the requested filter specification.
Additionally: impedance, bandwidth, response time, stop band attenuation, pass band ripple.. find out as much of these values as you can.

Yes of course.
It is for bluetooth low energy. Channels are 2mhz width, so I would need to filter for these particular channels:
2402-2402+2Mhz, 2426-2426+2Mhz, 2489-2480+2MHz.
Does its helps?
Selectivity doesn't occur at RF frequencies. It occurs at IF freqs and below. You are deluding yourself in thinking that you can build (or even obtain) a set of 2MHz wide bandpass filters at 2.4GHz. You need to tell us why you want so narrow of a filter. Are there strong interferrers close by?
No, there is no strong interferrers.
My project is to measure phase difference of bluetooth waves at these frequencies, so I want to remove any interferences.
Thank you for your response.
What about homodyne receivers?
