How to use Wrap Function in HFSS to wrap a sheet around a sphere ?

Hello ,

I am looking for a way to simulate a patch antenna in HFSS, wrap around a sphere. But I am not able to find the way to do it.

I have a patch antenna and wrap it around a cylinder surface successfully but when i try to wrap around a sphere I could not do so. I always have error? in HFSS, I dont know why as I use the same method as for wrapping around the cylinder.

Anyone have an any Idea to solve my problem or having any example of such model? Thanks

Actually I want to wrap a sheet around a sphere. As earlier I have warped a sheet around a cylinder in HFSS but now I also want to wrap the sheet around a sphere. For this I am using the same method as I used to wrap a sheet with zero thickness around a cylinder.

The surface of the sheet touches the cylindrical surface tangentially i-e the sheet touches the cylinder only at one point. then I used the modular tab and used wrap function for the purpose. But in case of sphere i am facing error.

Wrapping a sheet around a spherical surface works as expected for me. I would need your exact error message to help out more.

I have again tried as you said to me but it is still same as first happened. I am following the same procedure but I dont know why it is not properly wrapped around a sphere. I have attached the image as a result of using Wrap sheet command in HFSS.




This warning is shown after this wrapping command and the result is shown in images named as 1 and 2 respectively attached with this post.
