calculate the input power from transient simulation
If the signal sinusoidal, complex current voltage waveforms will give you the average power as in formulae below.
P=0.5*Re{V*conj(I)} or P=0.5*Re{conj(V)*I}

This can not be applicable for your case, since your simulation is Transient Analysis.
Can you understand what analysis you use surely.
Yes, i forgot to mention the tool name on that thread. But after that i found the xval() function usage.
May be i am not sure which analysis i have to use, can you give the suggestion to calculate the single mosfet diode efficiency...! for any analysis in cadence virtuoso.

"Cadence Virtuoso" is a name of Design Framework.

Such simulator never exists.
Understand correct name of simulator you use.
I assume you use Cadence ViVA as post processing.

Even if you use Cadence ADE, you can use various simulators on ADE, e.g. HSPICE, eldo, GoldenGate, etc.

Use Shooting-Newton-PSS or HB-PSS.
Then apply frequency domain data to the following skill functions for evaluating power.
"spectralPower()" or "pvi()"
"pvi()" is available only in ViVA.
If you don't use ViVA, you have to use "spectralPower()".
If you prefer transient analysis, use skill function "integ()".
About usage of these skill functions, launch skill API Finder from CIW of DFII.
Thank you and forgive me for my ignorance, I used "pvi()" function. So, that post processing tool is ViVA. Can you elaborate, how to use skill function "integ()" or is there any method to calculate input power from sine wave power supply. Just i want to calculate the efficiency of single diode mosfet rectifier. Output power i know P=V*I, but input power.. from the transient analysis...?

Evaluation of input power is same as output power.
BTW, "V*I" from transient analysis is an instantaneous power.
On the other hand, "pvi()" from PSS analysis is a averaged power over one fundamental period.
Do you surely require to evaluate instantaneous power ?
not must to evaluate instantaneous power from transient analysis, but i am not sure about "PSS analysis input power calculation" in Vsin - power supply.
Evaluate following.
integ(V*I)/T, where T is a one period.
Note:"pvi()" give averaged power regarding only one specific tone.
On the other hand, "integ(V*I)/T" give averaged power including all harmonics.
So if DUT is highly nonlinear, "pvi()" could be different from "integ(V*I)/T".
which means, the "pvi()" method power calculation is more accurate when we set the more harmonics in PSS simulation.
