Does anybody know the HTRC110 read range?

Hi everyone,
since a while I've been searching a way to read RFID tags at a distance of 50-60 cm using low frequency readers (134kHz).
I have tried the IC's EM4095 and TMS3705 but they only read at 20cm maximum.
Does anybody know if using the HTRC110 I can reach farther ranges?
I know it is difficult to achieve long read ranges using low frecuency readers, but it has to be a manner, because there are expensive commercial readers that do it.
Thanks!

I'm not specifically working with low frequency RFID, but to put in some general considerations valid for all passive RFID systems. You essentially need to solve two problems:
- achieve the minimal operation field strength at the tag location. Extending the range will most likely require a dedicated transmitter driver because the internal reader chip output stage won't do it
- detect the load modulation generated by the tag in presence of the strong transmitter signal. Question is if the reader chip provides the extra receiver dynamic for the range extension. A possible solution might be a differential coil configuration suppressing part of the transmitter signal.
