Hi all,
I need to design a peak detector which has very high speed. (40GHz)
I have designed some topologies but since all of them has an amplifier and this amplifier is not an RF amplifier the whole system does not work properly at that frequency.
Like this one:
I want to know is there any way to do this or not. It would be great if you help me with this.
Thank you for your time.

A depletion-mode RF FET will act like a diode with current
gain, and at a magic bias point will give zero at zero. Not
dead linear, but maybe you cal-map it later.
40 GHz speed with a feedback peak detector? No way.
it does not have to be feedback peak detector.
It has to be anything that could work !
