Could someone point me to a definition / example of "Intrinsic Load Impedance" in relation to amplifier design?
I read on Microwaves101, "The intrinsic impedance is a measure of the ratio of the electric field to the magnetic field." but how does this relate to the "Intrinsic Load Impedance" of an amplifier?

thanks,
GE

It's Radiation Related term and is not used in Amplifier Design.
For instance Intrinsic Impedance of the Vacuum is 377 Ohm.

Appreciate response BigBoss and understand what you are saying.
The term "Intrinsic Load Impedance" is used in software package AMPSA. It seems to relate to the IV curve.

The adjective "intrinsic" is related to a basic but important characteristic of a thing or a person.
So, this adjective could be associated with almost everything, not only to a Load Impedance.
