Hi! I am new here and algo beginner designing antennas.
Here my question: I would like to design a PIFA antenna for 434 MHz. The ground size is fix: 72.5x57x1 mm. The PIFA should be mounted in the corner and it′s dimensions should not exceed 45.6x17.85. I am using PEC and FR-4 for the substrate under the PIFA.
The resonance frequency that I first get is 0.6GHz. That′s why, I tried to extend the antenna and I add a capacitor, so that I achive the resonance frecuency at 0.434 GHz.
The problem that I have, is that it doesn′t radiate as it should be, and I don′t see why. S11 at 434 is -3.5dB, and Z much higher than 50 Ohms.
Can anybody help me? I have to say, that I am using the Student Version, and that#s why I am limited with the Mesh Cells.
