Hi everyone,
I am using the HFSS to simulate the metasurface in order to get the resonant frequency. I have done this (around 2.4 GHz)by using Perfect E and Perfect M boundary, and 1 Waveport. Now, I want to try the Floquet port and Master/Slave boundary. I followed the tutorial of HFSS (Get started with HFSS Floquet port) one step by one step, but didn't get the resonant frequency by studying the transmission/frequency curve. Please help me to check the attachment file. I really want to study the Floquet port because I may use it in order to get the dispersion curve and effective permittivity and permeability. The examples of calculating resonant frequency, dispersion relation and effective parameters are also welcome!

The resonance for your structure is not 2.5 GHz. It is more than 4 GHz. Even with Perfect E/H boundaries - you need to use 2 waveports.
Increase your frequency sweep to say 8 GHz and when using for Floquet ports - plot S21 for mode 2 as well.
