HFSS PEC and Perfect E

Hi,

I design a patch antenna, on the ground plane there is some small metal box, i define the material of the box as PEC, Do i need also define it as Boundary Perfect E or i do not need any Boundary ?

The material of type PEC should be fine. You could also give it a bit more realism and use a metal such as copper.

So i do not need to define boundary Perfect E ?

No, it would be redundant if you've assigned a PEC material type.
