Why does HFSS ask for me to click and draw every single time, also a few other issues

Does anyone actually draw objects by clicking on the screen? Every time I randomly click a few times and find the object I just created and edit the points. It would be so much easier if I could enter the values immediately instead of having to click a few random points only to edit them afterwards.
Another question I have is if there is a way to define default units. If I enter just a number for a length value, I believe it interprets it as meters. I would prefer if it defaulted to mm. Tools>options>general options>general>default units say my default length unit is mm, but it is not what I observe when i enter a number as a length value in the modeler.
I am quite proficient with CST but I have to work with HFSS now, and I am missing a few features. I was wondering if they exist and I just can't find them. I used "pick edge center>allign wcs" to quickly define geometry parametrically and relatively. Is there something similar in HFSS, what is the best practice?
Is there a history *list*, as in CST? Where every step in the creation of the simulation is listed in order?
Thank you

Hi Nhera,
I'm not aware of any way around your posted issues. The objects are each created with a "history"; you can view/edit these in the middle pane when the project is selected.
