MoM and Momentum
Hi,
MoM is the method of counting integral equation used in 2.5D EM simulators like @gilent's Momentum part of @DS system.
Greets,
Redi.
it is still a puzzle for me
can you give more details?
3X!
Momentum employs MoM, thus the name. Please read Momentum's manual.
yours truly
MoM means Methods of Moment . I'm not an english expert, but momentum certainly refers to moment...
The MoM (which differs from Finite Element method, like HFSS) solves problems by integrating little contributions of charges on the whole source surface (it is very bad explained...). You should look at an antenna book, some of them are detailing the EFIE (Electric Field Integral Equation) and MFIE (Magnetic...). And maybe you'll find something interesting here:

Good luck...
