Hi,
Question: Why many output softwares don't give the H-field in the far field calculation? Maybe am I missing something?
Thanks,
Mica

Hi
1) What do you mean by "many"??
2) You're talking about farfield.. Well, then H=E/(120pi) :)
Cheers

Sorry, not many. Thanks, you have clarifie me something. So, when you plot the total far field, you need to included the H field ?
Thanks,
Mica
so called Far Field characteristics shows module of |E| field values on sphere or often E^2 which is proportional to the power.
Also the plot is usually normalised thus in maximum you get 0dB as reference.
If you want to know H field values on far field sphere you need to show unnormalised E field values in desired distance (far enough) from the antenna.
Then H=E/120pi
