What is the difference in the full-wave SPICE analysis

Hi all,

Could anyone tell me what is the difference between full-wave SPICE and SPICE? Which one is more accurate for coupled line simulation?

Hi,

as far as I know, "Full Wave Spice" is just another ANSOFT trade name.
Full wave spice generates a Spice model out of your 3D Field simulation.

This spice model can then be used in "normal" spice simulators.

Problem is: I have heard that spice model tends to become "active" if you leave the freq. range it was design for. This can easily happen if you do a transient simulation in spice and the rise an fall times of your signals are to steep.

However, this are just rumours. I Don?t have any personal experience with Full Wave Spice. Any comments would be appreciated.
