Dear Sir:
When I finished my antenna simulation, I found there are some problem in the far field coordinate. I want to show the E-plane and H--plane, so I chose dB(rEtotal). I think according to my coordinate when the theta define to 90 degree is H-plane, while Phil chose 90 degree is E-plane. The shape of the graph of the result in far filed can be accepted. But I found most of datas of the result in the circle coordinate are positive, while I think the dB should be negative. How to correct it?
Thank you very much!

Regards,
The E/H-plane depends on your antenna configuration and orientation, not the coordinate system that you happened to choose.
Check the definition of gain. Its magnitude at some angle could be bigger than 1=>positive dB.
Thanks for your help!
All the value of E-plane and H-plane in dB in my coordinate are bigger than 1dB, and even some have reached 19. But the 3D shape of dBrE(total) in the far field seems fine. Why could it happen?
Thank you very much!
