Hi,
I'm not finding the equivalent electric conductivity of air anywhere! I know that for a perfect conductor, the conductivity goes to infinity, but what about for air???
Thank you

Hi!
You can consider air to be a very good insulator (imagine high voltage transmission!!), thus conductivity ~ 0 S/m
Rgz,
eirp
Thanks...
I also think it is approximately 0. But don't you know the exact value of this conductivity?
It all depends upon the number of oxygen and nitrogen molecules that become ionized. This is usually done by the UV radiation from the sun.
I suspect that it cannot be measured very well because of the much larger conductance shunting your measuring instrument.
Typical 25E-15 to 50E-15 ohm m
