field calculation in HFSS

hi,
I have started with HFSS recently, i want to know that how to find the value of tangential field component of a structure and how to physically identify the resonant modes formed in the models of HFSS 9.0.

The material for field calculation was posted long ago I guess. However, I am posting it here again.
