Dielectric material with er=20,337 in 5~6GHz
anybody knows any industrial material with er=20 and er=37 in 5~6GHz band?
name of the manufacturer and name of the product is absolutely enough.
we want to manufacture it, and we need specifications. they are going to be used as two-segment dielectric resonator antennas.
yours, marti
Lithium niobate LiNbO3 and lithium tantalate LiTaO3 are anisotropic materials with microwave dielectric constants in that range (Eps zz =28 eps xx=38). They have relatively low loss, tan delta ~ 0.002, and are sometimes used in dielectric resonators.
Then there are: tantalum pentoxide, zirconium oxide, zirconium silicate, cerium oxide, TeO2 , PbMoO4 , Gallium Gadolinium Garnet (Gd3Ga5O12 or GGG), etc.
Lanthanum Aluminate (LaAlO3) has Epsr = ~24 & tand = 1E-4. It's made by several vendors; google it and you'll find it.
Good Luck!
tnx all buddies,
bytheway, do you now my friends any industrial and commercial name for dielectrics in this range? the brand name will be also so helpfull.
rgds, mat
well, I finally find out a company producing nice things, it is Trans-Tech in us:

attached is the PDF describing their substrates, very usefull. please post here other brands if you know one.
cheers,
