Dear Sir:
Thank you very much for your help before!
I have defined a structer like the PBG. But the result of S-Para always changed with the change of the radiation boundary. I got the almost correct result from 1GHz to 20GHz( In this case, I define the radiation boundary twice wider than substrate and much higher than the height of substrate, and also defined two faces of substrate with wave port as perfect E.) But the result will be completely wrong as the frequency above 22GHz.(I define the wave port 10 times wider than trace and 5 times higher than substrate. Do you think it is correct?)
I once tried the radiation boundary define as tutorial, which make the radiation boundary touch each face of the structer except the top face, but the result wasnot satisfied.
So I want to know how far the radiation boundary should be away from structer and why the result became wrong with the high frequency(above 22GH)?
Thank you very much!
Regards,
Wei

At least make your radiation boundary away by Λ/4
