Academic Price?
What is MWS?
Edited: MWS -> MicroWave Studio frm Computer Simulation Technology (CST)

When my professor asked the CST representatives , they told that the cost is around $ 45,000 /= for the academic version and $ 80,000 for the commercial version , both with all the features. May be someone else can confirm this.
Academic licensing includes some "not for commercial use" terms but is fully functional... As far as I know (from personal experience) academic license is about 1500-2000 Euros per year, for the transient and eigenmode solvers...

Are you sure about that? since it sounds too cheap.
It sounds too cheap to me too..Is that the annual support price?
It is for annual rental of MWS. It includes all necessary support and upgrades, but after 1 year the license expires and needs renewal...
Prices like 40-50.000$ (or Euros) are probably for a permanent license (but no support or upgrades)...
cheers!

Do becareful when you buy your license! There is additional options which might prove to be useful for some. For example, there is for an option at extra cost to support Intel Hyperthreading CPU. I find this greatly useful and a must have for speedy simulations, however at EXTRA COST.
P.S. I will see if I can find the price on MWS. Let you guys know soon.
