hi all,
im working on project whereby i use 10 feet coil cable to powerup a sys using 12vdc. I have some problem whereby the coil cable is emmitting at 120Mhz. I have notice tht my source is noisy has 120Mhz component in it. My question would be hw do we calculate the to prove the coil cable is acting as antenna and emitting 120mhz? thanks in advance?

Where does the 120 MHz come from in your circuitry? The cable can only radiate a signal that is put into it.
Your best procedure is emperical. Take the detecting device (receiver or spectrum analyzer) and put a small coil on the end of a coax and connect it to your detecting device. Move the coil over your circuitry including the cable. This will show you where the signal is coming from.
