Embedded Multimedia Software Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Design and develop software component on QNX or Linux to provide multimedia solution for infotainment system. Responsible for specific multimedia interface based on QNX MME or equivalent architecture.
        Work closely with other internal or external team members to deliver for different projects on time.
        Work with SW component providers to fit deliveries into corporate environment
        Perform code review and other activities to ensure high-quality results.
        Conduct unit tests, and write various documentations for software modules.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Requires a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and should have at least 3+ years of related experience
Required Experience & Knowledge:
•        Strong C /C++ and OO programming skill.
•        Good understanding on video and audio codec formats (H.264/MPEG, AAC/ MP3, …).
•        Good understanding on video audio file wrappers (AVI/MP4/MKV/…).
•        Excellent with embedded system software development, testing and debugging skill.
•        Deep knowledge of multimedia framework, codec, and streaming protocols.
•        Exhibit great problem solving skill.
•        Excellent English language skills (fluent in spoken and written, can host conference call in English)
Desired Experience and Knowledge:
        Familiar with embedded system : WinCE, Linux, or Android
        Experience developing and debugging OO software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor, multi-interface environment is a plus
        Knowledge of DirectShow, GStreamer or FFmpeg is a plus.
        QNX experience is a plus.
        Work experience on internet radio is a plus.
