Engineering Leadership Program Engineer Position Overview and
Responsibilities
The National Instruments Engineering Leadership Program (ELP) is designed
for new engineering college graduates
with strong leadership qualities who are interested in developing their
careers in the areas of technical sales in most cases or technical
marketing.
New ELP Engineers benefit from extensive training programs, including
training on National Instruments products and related technologies,
our business strategies and systems, public speaking, instructor skills,
our customers, and markets we serve.
Major Responsibilities:
Work from two or three years to learn our products, customer needs, and
markets. During this time, you interface between National Instruments and
our customers to find creative and timely solutions as well as work on a
variety of technical projects .
Work cooperatively with many departments at NI, including Sales, Marketing
and System Engineering.
Work on challenging projects related to your chosen career path, such as
developing a proof-of-concept LabVIEW program to assist a Field Sales
Engineer with a key customer, or working with marketing to develop a demo to
be used in seminar, tradeshow or roadshow.
Travel to conduct customer training courses, customer seminars, and give
product presentations.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor or Master of Science, with preferred majors in Electrical
Engineering,or any major similar(Solid understanding of electronics) such as
the following Engineering disciplines: Instrumentation, Mechanical,
Mechatronics, Automotive, Aerospace etc
GPA > 3.5
Excellent English
Energetic, enthusiastic, positive outlook
Strong interpersonal skills and work effectively in a group development
environment
Willingness to relocate to other cities in China if interested in Technical
Field Sales Engineer career path
