Job Description

Vivante Corporation isseeking motivated and talented compiler software engineers to enable theadvanced GPU features, and optimize GPU performance for graphics, compute, andvision applications. As a member of Vivante compiler software team whichdevelops core shader compiler modules for OpenGL, OpenCL, and OpenVX drivers,you will be involved in designing and implementing the core compilertechnologies that maximize Vivante GPU performance, and will also have directaccess to the cutting-edge GPU hardware architecture which is not only capableof 3D graphics rendering but also capable of high performance generalcomputing.An ideal candidate for this position must have a passion for solvingchallenging software problems involving compiler technologies. Any priorcompiler development experience on CPU/GPU/ISP platforms would be consideredparticularly valuable for this position.

Requirements

Experience withcompiler development in academia or industry environment;

Knowledge of moderncompiler technologies, including intermediate-language representation, platformdependent/independent optimizations, functional transformation, codegeneration, etc.

Knowledge ofcompiler-related data structures and algorithms such as graph algorithms,analysis and optimization algorithms.

Familiarity withgraphics shading languages, LLVM and GPU architectures a definite plus.

Experience of workingwith a large code base with C/C++, assembly programing language.

MS or PhD in ComputerScience or Computer Engineering.
