哪位大侠知道DDR4中VPP是干嘛的？

看到DDR4多了一个VPP的电压，说是字位电压，看起来DDR3应该也需要这个电压，现在DDR4把它单拉出来有啥好处?

The DRAM word line requires higher voltages to activate the access transistor, ensuring fast access during the on state and ultra-low leakage during the off-state. The availability of the 2.5V VPP means that the word line voltage does not have to be inefficiently supplied (pumped up) from the 1.2V VDDQ supply, thereby improving energy/power efficiency.
