BVC是什么？

GPRS 所特有的基地台GPRS 协定(BSS GPRS protocol 或BBSGP),负责
在GPRS 服务支援节点与基地台之间传送路由与QoS资讯的工作,并提供
上层逻辑连结控制层传递的服务.
BSSGP 在NS 之上的layer 2 sublayer, 上层是LLC.
在BSSGP 的连结称为BSSGP Virtual Connection (BVC).
BVC 是利用一群NS 提供的NS-VC, 在BSSGP 层可建立一个BVC.
每一个BVC 用来传送BSS 与SGSN 间的PDUs.
Each BVC is used to transport BSSGP PDUs between peer Point-
To-Point functional entities, peer Point-To-MultiPoint functional
entities, or peer-signaling functional entities.
BSSGP 提供radio-related QoS与BSS 与SGSN 间的routing information.
每一个BVC, 利用a QoS profile 和MS ID 分别在SGSN 和BSS 两方
建立的queues 和contexts.
BSSGP 提供3 种services, 以下分别说明:
BSSGP/RL (BSS GPRS Protocol/Relay) service model
GMM (GPRS mobility management) model
NM (Network management) model

BSS GPRS Protocol (BSSGP)
BSSGP Virtual Connection (BVC) provides
communication path between BSSGP entities
(i.e., BSS, SGSN).
BVC is supported by NS-VCs.
Each BVC transports BSSGP PDUs.
BSSGP provides the radio-related QoSand
Routing Informationrequired to transmit user
data (BSS SGSN).
