Development of Automatic Driving Vehicle I (Analysis of CAN messages of the experimental vehicle)
In this year, we plan to develop a automatic driving vehicle based on a passenger vehicle. As the first step of the development, we have to get information of the vehicle's state. In the current passenger vehicle, various information is exchanged among ECUs and sensors via CAN. But the contents of the CAN messages are not open to public. In the internship, we would like to the student to helps us the analysis of the CAN message of the experimental vehicle.
Development of Automatic Driving Vehicle II (Development of control interface unit for the experimental vehicle)
In this year, we plan to develop a automatic driving vehicle based on a passenger vehicle. The policy of the development is realizing the automatic driving by actuators that the vehicle is originally equipped with, such as motor for the electric power steering, hydraulic actuator for the brake system. To act the actuators, one of the reasonable ways is overriding signals of sensors relevant to the actuators. In the internship, we would like to the student to helps us the development of an interface unit using microcomputer to actuate the vehicle's actuator following the commands from PC.
