Summary of Change

As a part of TI's ongoing commitment to excellence in customer satisfaction, quality and reliability, we are pleased to announce that we will be extending the shelf life of certain designated products previously designated at 2 years, to 5 years.

This change, effective June 1, 2008, has been made possible due to advancements in lead frames used by TI and improvements in packing materials, work methods and inventory logistics. It will cause no negative impact to quality, and will benefit customers in a number of ways.

Extending the shelf life of certain products will allow TI to build ahead on those products and hold inventory internally. With the TI warranty remaining intact, this will give customers increased assurance of supply, more immediate availability of product, and will help minimize the burden caused by end-of-life complications on mature products.
