OPA548的过流保护

我现在要用OPA548,它有个Current LImited功能,现在假设我设定输出电压5V,current limited设定为1A,然后接2Ω的负载,此时输出会有什么动作?直接shutdown还是让输出电压保持在2V,恒流输出1A?

恒流1A。

根据手册:HIGH OUTPUT CURRENT: 3A Continuous 5A Peak

如果现在假设设定输出电压5V,current limited设定为1A,然后接2Ω的负载,如果没有current limited功能,输出为2.5A,没有超出其最大输出功率范围;

其实current limited设定为1A,然后接2Ω的负载,其输出摆幅应该会被限定在2V上。

THERMAL PROTECTION

Power dissipated in the OPA548 will cause the junction temperature to rise. The OPA548 has thermal shutdown circuitry that protects the amplifier from damage. The thermal protection circuitry disables the output when the junction temperature reaches approximately 160°C, allowing the device to cool. When the junction temperature cools to approximately 140°C, the output circuitry is again enabled
