ADS 2013.06 RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS
This release, ADS 2013.06, has new capabilities specifically intended for High-Speed Digital applications. Please review the new capabilities and the fixed defects carefully before upgrading. If you are working on RF or microwave designs we recommend that you continue to use ADS 2012.08.
Retimer Solution in Channel Simulation
An economical solution to quickly and accurately solve the challenge posed by signal distortion in the multigigabit-per-second regime
Now able to model mid-channel repeaters that have a clock/data recovery circuit (“re-timers”) using a pre-standard extension to the IBIS AMI specification
Enhancements AImed at power integrity circuit simulations
Support for power integrity keywords in the IBIS specification
Support for per-port reference impedance and mixed-mode s-parameters using the Touchstone 2.0 file format
New Design Tool: Touchstone Combiner
New tool builds multi-port victim/aggressor channel models from, for example, multiple S4P files typically obtained from a VNA measurement of PCB and package traces。

New Technologies and Breakthroughs for RF Power Amplifier Design
New multi-chip module FEM simulation analyzes interactions between ICs and interconnects in typical multichip modules
Offers a complete solution for the new Agilent NeuroFET model which enables more accurate FET modeling and simulation results
New electro-thermal simulator that incorporates dynamic temperature effects to improve accuracy
New Usability Improvements
New docking windows enable users to quickly access frequently used dialog boxes
New component search and net navigator functions make it easy to work with larger designs
New archive/un-archive utility makes sharing designs and workspaces easier
Increased Level of Integration with EMPro
EMPro 2012 includes a new level of integration with ADS 2012 that enables 3D EM components to be saved as database cells for use directly in ADS
New products for High Speed Digital Design
New product W2324 High Capacity Pre-processor supports selection of critical nets for EM modeling
New re-driver component in Channel Simulator based on a pre-standard extension to IBIS AMI
Simulation manager supports the new W2312 Transient Convolution Distributed Computer 8-pack
