EDA tool installation

May i know, which is the best Linux version and kernal version to install Synopsys and Cadence EDA tool.?

The Linux version depends on the downloaded version of the software.Old software needs old Linux OS.Newer software needs newer Linux OS.I have successfully installedon Redhat and SuSE in my company.Other people has installed on Ubontu and CentOS.But I think Redhat and SuSE give me less head ache.

For software before 2014, Centos 6.4 or Red Hat Enterprise 6.4

Can i prefer RHEL 6.5 for synopsys and cadence 2015 EDA version.?

I've install the 2015 Synopsys Tools on RHEL 7.1, they work fine, but there's some minor issue about the lmgrd, so, I guess RHEL6.x or Cent6.x is still the best choice, even for tool of 2015

I have used CentOS release 6.6 from the begining of this year.
All newest cadence and synopsys tools work well.
