/eda/IC6141/tools/dfII/bin/32bit/virtuoso: symbol lookup error: /eda/IC6141/tools/QT/lib/libQtGui.so.4: undefined symbol: XRenderFindStandardFormat
who can tell me why?
does anyone successfully setupic6141/ic6151in other platfrom? could you pls share your experience?
setenv CDS_AUTO_64BIT ALL
請問 IC610 能在 rhelor centOS6 上跑起來嗎 ?
i can get it work on ubuntu 32bit
My system is Scientific Linux 5.7 _64bit and everything is fine. All programs working in 64bit mode. Here is list:
-Cadence (IC615.500.4, EDI10, MMSIM10, ASSURA, IUS9.2, ..)
-Mentor (QuestaSim10.1, Calibre2011.2.34, Catapult, ..)
-Agilent (ADS2011.10)
-Matlab2012a
-Xilinx ISE Design Suite 13.4
-Synopsys in plan
-…
setenv CDS_AUTO_64BIT ALL
why do you need 64-bit machines for cadence?anything specific?
From Cadance:
1. Check to see how much swap and memory you have on your workstation.
At a minimum, we strongly recommend 2+GB RAM and 5+GB swap...and
more is better.
In MMSIM6.0, we now have a Spectre executable with 64 bit addressing. This
means no 4GB process size limit, but if the circuit is large, the RAM
requirements could get really high. With an RCX parasitic resimulation,
64 GB (Yes, GigaBytes) of RAM might be required to simulate a parasitic
resimulation.

What will be if you run simultaneously other progs?
