Product Overview
In a base transceiver station (BTS), tower-top equipment such as tower mounted amplifiers (TMA) and remote control units (RCU) are controlled or monitored by the central control unit (CCU). The CCU communicates with the equipment located at the top of the tower. A Smart Bias Tee injects/takes the AISG and DC signals to/from the main RF tower cable (feeder). In this way, there is no need to use a separate cable for DC and control signals between the base station and tower-top equipment.
